17. Rogoznica's Cup - Europa Cup Event
1. Organizing Authority
17. Rogoznica's Cup – Europa Cup Event, is organized by the Sailing Club «Val», under the authority of Radio Sailing Division of Croatian Sailing Federation and Croatian Sailing Federation.
2. Rules
The regatta will be governed by the Notice of Race (NoR) and the Sailing Instructions (SI). Regatta will be scored for Croatian ranking and Croatian Cup for IOM class and for Europa Cup Series.
3. Advertising
The regatta is Category C event as defined in ISAF Advertising Code.
4. Eligibility
Regatta is open to all boats with valid measurement certificate verified at their national authorities and members of their national class associations.
5. Entries
Entries are to be made using the official entry form and forwarded to:

The entry fee of 45 euro per competitor shall be paid in cash on March 3rd 2023. The first 54 registered sailors will have the right to participate in the regatta.
6. Registration
Boats, together with their valid measurement certificates shall be presented for registration before 12:00 AM on March 3rd 2023. However, the Race Committee may extend the time for registration and event measurement if there is a valid reason to do so.

8. Measurement
It is intended that all boats will pass event measurement on Friday, March 3rd 2023. None the less, the Race Committee may at any time request the event measurer to confirm that a boat complies with the Class Rules. Random spot checks may be effected throughout the duration of the Event.
9. Venue
Rogoznica, Rogoznica's bay.
10. Scoring
Scoring will be carried out in accordance with the Simple Heat Racing System (SHRS).
11. Appeals
The right of appeal is denied in accordance with RRS 70.4(a).
12. Frequencies: Permitted frequencies are: 27, 35, 40, 41, 72 MHZ and 2.4 GHz. Each competitor is required to have a minimum of two frequencies available.
13. Prizes
Prizes will be awarded to the first three positions in the final results. Organizer may give additional prizes.
14. Media rights
Competitors, owners of the boats and their guests are giving all rights for using pictures and videos of persons and boats during the regatta in medias, including commercials, press materials and all other promoting activities and press releases.
15. Liability
All those entering or taking part in this regatta do so at their own risk and responsibility.
Sailing Club “Val” and any other parties involved in the organization of this event disclaim: any and every responsibility whatsoever for loss, damage, injury or inconvenience that might occur to persons and goods, both ashore and on the water as a consequence of entering or participating in the regatta covered by this Notice of Race. At all times the responsibility for the safety of their boat and themselves including the decision to participate or continue shall rest with the competitors. By entering the event it is deemed that you accept these conditions.
Competitors are advised to ensure that they have adequate personal insurance that provides cover for public liability and their possible injury in the country of this regatta.

Offshore race

2. Rules
The regatta will be governed by the Notice of Race (NoR) and the Sailing Instructions (SI). Navigation regatta will be scored for «Rogoznica's Cup – Offshore race».
3. Advertising
The regatta is Category C event as defined in ISAF Advertising Code.
4. Eligibility
Regatta is open to RC boats in two categories:
1. IOM – all boats with a valid IOM measurement certificate;
2. OPEN – monohull RC boats with hull length 0,99 – 1m, without limitation on sails, rigging and appendages.
The smallest number of boats in each category is 2. If there is only one boat in category the organizer will not allow her sailing in official competition.

It is intended that all boats will pass event measurement of hull length on Friday, March 3rd 2023.

Scoring will be carried out in accordance with Appendix 1 of NoR.
12. Appeals
The right of appeal is denied in accordance with RRS 70.4(a).

Transitional prize will be awarded to the best competitor in coastal fleet race in IOM category and the best in OPEN category will receive special prize.
